Moments for Lebanon is an artistic and humanitarian initiative based in Paris, founded by a collective of Lebanese women, to bring people together through art, and community in support of Lebanon.

The project takes the form of a curated exhibition and artistic event that happens over 4 days in a special location in Paris, with the ambition of raising funds to provide urgent relief in the country. More than an Art sale, it is both a platform for creative expression and a collective act of solidarity that aims in transforming shared moments into tangible impact for Lebanon.

Our first edition of Moments for Lebanon happened in November 2024, during the war in Lebanon and we are planning on creating our second edition in June 2026.

The initiative is led by Sana Halwany and Tamara Barakat—Lebanese expatriates that are currently working and living in Paris.

Sana is an architect trained at Boston University, with experience at renowned architecture studios such as Kengo Kuma, Sou Fujimoto, and Zaha Hadid. Sana most recently worked at Aesop as a retail architect, before launching her own practice between Paris and Beirut.

Tamara is a Marketing and Communications specialist trained at Parsons School of Design, with experience in Marketing at L’Oréal and currently leading Global Communications at design company, AREA 17.
